Collection of fluid in the back of the knee. Baker’s cysts usually develop from a persistent effusion as in conditions such as arthritis.It's caused when the tissue behind the knee joint becomes swollen and inflamed.

Symptoms
- Pain in the knee and calf
- A build-up of fluid around the knee
- Occasional locking or clicking in the knee joint
